  • Welcome to our blog!

We believe in love. Real, passionate love that lasts a lifetime. For the past 9 years we've been lucky enough to have the privilege of freezing special moments of love for many happy couples. We find it extremely fulfilling to be able to photograph couples during this time. It is our goal to develop lifelong relationships with our clients. The love that we share as husband and wife for each other and our 3 children inspires us to photograph other couples in love.

Some quick technical stuff: Candace graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2002. Josh began photographing weddings with Candace in 2006. We are members of Professional Photographers of America, and the ever exciting CT PUG group. We limit ourselves in the number of weddings that we take on per year, so that each of our clients to feel like they are the only ones we have. We believe that the beauty that we capture on your most special day deserves to be displayed only with the highest quality products. We never want our clients to be anything less than 100% satisfied with our talent, professionalism, and passion for excellence. We are based in CT and are available and excited to travel internationally to photograph your event!

A Wedding Reception at The Pond House – Janel and Sal, Part 3!

After a week in Mexico celebrating Janel and Sal’s intimate wedding ceremony, we all came back home to CT for their Reception at The Pond House.  The two of them got ready together at Residence Inn by Marriott in Hartford, and then we walked the streets for some beautiful photography.  I love Hartford, there are so many great spots with beautiful architecture and lines and texture.  After the photos in Hartford we went to The Pond House for their 150 person cocktail reception.  Such a great way to end the 2011 season, we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to spend the evening with.  Enjoy the photos!

Trash The Dress Shoot in Cancun – Janel and Sal, Part 2!

The day after their wedding, Janel, Sal, Josh and I ventured out of the resort and into downtown Cancun to do some fun, more relaxed photos, hoping to fine more “authentic-Mexican” architecture and backgrounds.  It was so much fun taking these photos, definitely fulfilled a personal and professional goal:) Trust me, shooting in the ocean with waves crashing on you is way harder than it looks, but so worth it!  I hope you enjoy the photos!  Part 3 coming soon.

A Mexico destination wedding – Janel and Sal, Part 1!

Allow me to begin this post by once again bragging about having the best clients ever!  We first met Janel and Sal when Sal was a groomsmen at Maggie and Jude’s wedding, in 2010.  Janel had contacted us about shooting their “back-home” reception at The Pond House, saying that it was a reception only, and didn’t need a photographer for the ceremony since it was going to be in Cancun. Imagine my reaction!!!  Next thing you know we are all in Cancun sipping Margaritas at Moon Palace:) Talk about an amazing way to finish out the 2011 wedding season!  With 50 of their closest friends and family as witnesses, Sal and Janel experienced the perfect beach wedding.   I am going to divid their wedding into three separate posts, starting here with the actual ceremony day.  Enjoy the photos!

Meet baby Isabella!

Angela and Ryan have the cutest baby girl, Isabella!  It was so nice spending time with clients, especially since we began being their photographers a few years ago, with their engagement session.  Being ‘photographers for life’ for our clients is a huge goal of ours, and we are so happy when it happens.  We wish both of you all the best with your growing family, so happy for you!
