  • Welcome to our blog!

We believe in love. Real, passionate love that lasts a lifetime. For the past 12 years we've been lucky enough to have the privilege of freezing special moments of love for many happy couples. We find it extremely fulfilling to be able to photograph couples during this time. It is our goal to develop lifelong relationships with our clients. The love that we share as husband and wife for each other and our 3 children inspires us to photograph other couples in love.

Some quick technical stuff: Candace graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2002. Josh began photographing weddings with Candace in 2006. We are members of Professional Photographers of America, and the ever exciting CT PUG group. We limit ourselves in the number of weddings that we take on per year, so that each of our clients to feel like they are the only ones we have. We believe that the beauty that we capture on your most special day deserves to be displayed only with the highest quality products. We never want our clients to be anything less than 100% satisfied with our talent, professionalism, and passion for excellence. We are based in CT and are available and excited to travel internationally to photograph your event!

An Aqua Turf Wedding – Joanna and Mike!

We loved Joanna and Mike! They were one of those great couples who just beamed with happiness when they looked at each other. Their wedding day was very focused on their wonderful families and Joanna’s Polish roots.  I started off the day with Joanna at her parents house in Berlin CT,  while Joe spent some time with Mike and his groomsmen at their ceremony and reception location, the Aqua Turf.  The ceremony took place at The Chapel In The Pines, we really loved how cozy and intimate it was.  Then their reception was full of polish traditions and tons of dancing. One of our favorite parts of the day was when they announced that it wasn’t just Joanna and Mikes wedding day, it also was both Joanna and Mike’s parents anniversaries! So the six of them celebrated with a special dance.

A Harkness Park Engagement Session – Lauren and Rich!

After needing to reschedule their engagement session twice due to rain, the third time was finally the charm!  Lauren and Rich had a beautiful day for their engagement session at Harkness Park.  We are so excited for their wedding in November at Aria, we know it will be amazing!  Many thanks to Maegan for her help at this shoot, as well as Larissa Lake Makeup Artist for her fantastic work with Lauren.  Enjoy the photos!

A Fun Bowling Alley Engagement Session – Monique and Rich!

So it is our first official post here on the Candace Jeffery Photography blog! The pressure is on : ) Thankfully we get to start off with Monique and Rich’s super fun engagement session. Joe and I (Maegan) photographed Monique’s sisters wedding last summer and we were thrilled that Monique contacted us shortly after Rich proposed. We started the afternoon at Silver Lanes Bowling Alley where Monique and Rich first met. After they showed off their skills we headed to Glastonbury center and explored some of Riverfront Park. We can’t wait for their wedding this fall at The Galleria in Glastonbury.

A Riverview Wedding – Lauren and Joe!

Lauren and Joe got married on a beautiful day in August.  They really embraced the day as a special day to be remembered with friends and family.  Their ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Church in Windsor, where Lauren attended as a child.  We next went to Northwest Park in Windsor for their portraits, which was also a special location to both of them.  The reception was held at The Riverview, which is awesome because Joe proposed to Lauren on the river.  The coral dresses and tan suits looked great at this wedding, as did the vintage car!  We hope that you love all of the photos!

The Gershon Fox Ballroom Wedding – Courtney and Eric, Part 2!

Here is Part 2 of the super fantastic wedding of Courtney and Eric.  You can view Part 1 here.  As you know, these two shared an emotional First Look, but Eric still had the reaction that every girl wants when Courtney walked down the isle, even starting the ceremony with a kiss :) Everyone felt the love during this ceremony as 8 different guests read/sang about love from their seats to the couple.  It was truly moving, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the whole audience.

Butch Gray had the dance floor packed, the food was incredible, the toasts were heartfelt and The Marquee never looked so good!
