  • Welcome to our blog!

We believe in love. Real, passionate love that lasts a lifetime. For the past 12 years we've been lucky enough to have the privilege of freezing special moments of love for many happy couples. We find it extremely fulfilling to be able to photograph couples during this time. It is our goal to develop lifelong relationships with our clients. The love that we share as husband and wife for each other and our 3 children inspires us to photograph other couples in love.

Some quick technical stuff: Candace graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2002. Josh began photographing weddings with Candace in 2006. We are members of Professional Photographers of America, and the ever exciting CT PUG group. We limit ourselves in the number of weddings that we take on per year, so that each of our clients to feel like they are the only ones we have. We believe that the beauty that we capture on your most special day deserves to be displayed only with the highest quality products. We never want our clients to be anything less than 100% satisfied with our talent, professionalism, and passion for excellence. We are based in CT and are available and excited to travel internationally to photograph your event!

The Gershon Fox Ballroom Wedding – Courtney and Eric, Part 2!

Here is Part 2 of the super fantastic wedding of Courtney and Eric.  You can view Part 1 here.  As you know, these two shared an emotional First Look, but Eric still had the reaction that every girl wants when Courtney walked down the isle, even starting the ceremony with a kiss :) Everyone felt the love during this ceremony as 8 different guests read/sang about love from their seats to the couple.  It was truly moving, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the whole audience.

Butch Gray had the dance floor packed, the food was incredible, the toasts were heartfelt and The Marquee never looked so good!

The Gershon Fox Ballroom Wedding – Courtney and Eric, Part 1!

I are truly struggling to find the right words for Courtney and Eric’s wedding last month.  If you were a guest there, I am sure you know what I am talking about.  There are so many special touches that to even try to mention them all would be a disservice to the authenticity and emotion of the day.  So I’m going to keep this super short:)

I am splitting their wedding into two different posts, as there are so many great images!  With this first post I will show some getting ready photos as well as some of the portraits that we did before the ceremony.

I hope that all that view this First Look will have their doubts as to whether or not it ruins the “specialness” of seeing each other at the ceremony, eased.  As you will see in the next post, their Part 2, the moment that Eric sees Courtney walking down the isle is still super special.

After both getting ready at The Residence Inn, their First Look was on Pratt Street.  Both the ceremony and reception were held at The Gershon Fox Ballroom.  Please enjoy these photos, we love you both:)

The Golden Lamb Buttery Wedding – Sara and Rory!

Does everyone remember how crazy HOT it was this past July?  Well, Sara and Rory’s wedding day was the hottest by far!  That didn’t stop these two love birds from having an incredible day.  They traveled all the way from LA to be back home with friends and family for their “farm-to-table”, pastel colored, intimate wedding. After they both got ready in separate rooms at The Mansion at Bald Hill, their ceremony was at the Woodstock Congregational Church.  All portraits as well as the cocktail hour and the reception were at The Golden Lamb Buttery, in Brooklyn CT, and they arrived there in a 1957 Chevy Coupe.  If you haven’t visited this amazing venue, please add it to your list of date night dinner choices:) I can’t even begin to describe how fun this wedding was, with its hayrides, two live bands, the “cheese” cake and they even had their first dance in the field.  There weren’t too many of the “traditional” wedding aspects here, but it truly was an authentic, warm and welcoming wedding.  I hope that you enjoy the photos!

A Branford House Wedding – Rachel and Mike!

Rachel and Mike‘s beautiful wedding day started with the guys and the girls preparing at separate homes.  Both the ceremony and reception were at The Branford House.  We absolutely love this venue, who could go wrong with a castle over looking Long Island Sound?  The pink and silver color scheme looked great, and we really had a great time with everyone.  This was a very romantic and fun wedding, and we hope the photos show this, enjoy!
