  • Welcome to our blog!

We believe in love. Real, passionate love that lasts a lifetime. For the past 9 years we've been lucky enough to have the privilege of freezing special moments of love for many happy couples. We find it extremely fulfilling to be able to photograph couples during this time. It is our goal to develop lifelong relationships with our clients. The love that we share as husband and wife for each other and our 3 children inspires us to photograph other couples in love.

Some quick technical stuff: Candace graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2002. Josh began photographing weddings with Candace in 2006. We are members of Professional Photographers of America, and the ever exciting CT PUG group. We limit ourselves in the number of weddings that we take on per year, so that each of our clients to feel like they are the only ones we have. We believe that the beauty that we capture on your most special day deserves to be displayed only with the highest quality products. We never want our clients to be anything less than 100% satisfied with our talent, professionalism, and passion for excellence. We are based in CT and are available and excited to travel internationally to photograph your event!

A Club Getaway Wedding – Vanessa and Anthony!

Vanessa and Anthony had one of the greatest ideas for their wedding: A whole weekend retreat for 170 guests at Club Getaway in Kent CT.  With most of Anthony’s family coming down from Canada, and Vanessa’s family coming over from California, a weekend packed with boating, waterskiing, kayaking, scuba diving, volleyball, golf, tennis, rock climbing, trapeze, zumba, yoga, cooking classes, wine tasting and much more, was a wonderful plan!  We had a bit of an issue with bad weather and power outages, however this did not lessen the smiles on anyones faces.  High Society Rhythm kept the tented dance floor packed, and Beardsley Gardens did a beautiful job with bouquets and centerpieces.   I absolutely loved the red and turquoise colors in this wedding, as well as the beer mugs and custom designed earrings that were the gifts for the attendants.   Enjoy the photos!

beautiful images! this wedding looks so beautiful!

Great to see these images! I am always checking out photographers blogs! I am a wedding photographer based in the UK, but 10 years ago, I was an intern at Club Getaway! Yep, even got to spend the winter in the office!

Anyway, you have some great moments captured in the marquee! Love the stuff in the rain too! But my fav, is the last image, outside the marquee…great stuff.

Anyway, hope business is going well…

A Wickham Park Engagement Session – Jen and Kurt!

Jen and Kurt are getting married in just a couple of weeks and we are really looking forward to it!  We had such a nice day for their engagement session at Wickham Park, and it was great spending time with them and their daughter Allison.  Larissa Lake Makeup Artist did an amazing job on the hair and makeup, can’t wait to see what she does on the wedding day!  Enjoy the photos!

These photographs of Jen & Kurt are beautiful! I love that they incorporated their daughter into their engagement session.

Bushnell Theater Photo Shoot – Alicia!

Last week we had the fun opportunity to collaborate with some talented, local wedding vendors for a fun photo shoot at Bushnell Theater in Hartford, CT.  Our beautiful model is also a talented photographer, Alicia Candelora, hair and makeup was provided by Salon Alexander, the dress, jewelry and hair piece came from The Wedding Embassy, and on hand lending creative advice was David Long of DL Video Productions.

SO much fun, enjoy the photos!

Beautiful bridal portraits! The image of the bride laying on the couch is amazing!

A Rainy Hartford Engagement Session – Ashley and Jack!

Ashley and Jack didn’t let the threat of a potential tornado cancel their engagement session!  We did, however, change locations to have some overhead cover from the rain, instead of their original location choice of Cassidy Hill Vineyard.  Ashley and Jack are getting married next month at The Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, CT, the same place Josh and I got married!!  We cannot wait to go back there again:)Ashley had her hair and makeup done by Larissa Lake Makeup Artist.  Enjoy the photos:)

This couple looks so sweet! I LOVE the 3rd image – its so soft and serene.
