Candace Jeffery Photography's Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to our blog!

We believe in love. Real, passionate love that lasts a lifetime. For the past 9 years we've been lucky enough to have the privilege of freezing special moments of love for many happy couples. We find it extremely fulfilling to be able to photograph couples during this time. It is our goal to develop lifelong relationships with our clients. The love that we share as husband and wife for each other and our 3 children inspires us to photograph other couples in love.

Some quick technical stuff: Candace graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2002. Josh began photographing weddings with Candace in 2006. We are members of Professional Photographers of America, and the ever exciting CT PUG group. We limit ourselves in the number of weddings that we take on per year, so that each of our clients to feel like they are the only ones we have. We believe that the beauty that we capture on your most special day deserves to be displayed only with the highest quality products. We never want our clients to be anything less than 100% satisfied with our talent, professionalism, and passion for excellence. We are based in CT and are available and excited to travel internationally to photograph your event!

Meet baby Isabella!

Angela and Ryan have the cutest baby girl, Isabella!  It was so nice spending time with clients, especially since we began being their photographers a few years ago, with their engagement session.  Being ‘photographers for life’ for our clients is a huge goal of ours, and we are so happy when it happens.  We wish both of you all the best with your growing family, so happy for you!

A Hartford Society Room Wedding – Kaitlin and Sean!

Kaitlin and Sean’s wedding at The Society Room of Hartford was our second to last wedding of the year.  Everything about this wedding went perfectly smooth, and we loved every minute of it.  Kaitlin and the girls got ready at The Hilton in Hartford, and thanks to the perfect weather that we had, were able to walk over to their ceremony at Christ Church Cathedral.  After their ceremony the four of us, Josh, Kaitlin, Sean and I walked over to Pratt Street to shoot the portraits of the two of them, and then walked back to the church for more group shots.  The Society Room looked beautiful, as always, with the wine and ivory colors that Kaitlin had picked out.  Afterhours DJ kept the dance floor packed, The Flower Girl provided great flowers, and Kaitlin’s maid of honor did a great job on the makeup!  Enjoy the photos!
