  • Welcome to our blog!

We believe in love. Real, passionate love that lasts a lifetime. For the past 9 years we've been lucky enough to have the privilege of freezing special moments of love for many happy couples. We find it extremely fulfilling to be able to photograph couples during this time. It is our goal to develop lifelong relationships with our clients. The love that we share as husband and wife for each other and our 3 children inspires us to photograph other couples in love.

Some quick technical stuff: Candace graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2002. Josh began photographing weddings with Candace in 2006. We are members of Professional Photographers of America, and the ever exciting CT PUG group. We limit ourselves in the number of weddings that we take on per year, so that each of our clients to feel like they are the only ones we have. We believe that the beauty that we capture on your most special day deserves to be displayed only with the highest quality products. We never want our clients to be anything less than 100% satisfied with our talent, professionalism, and passion for excellence. We are based in CT and are available and excited to travel internationally to photograph your event!

A Winter Engagement Session at Minute Man National Historical Park – Kristin and Nate!

I am so excited to share with you Kristin and Nate’s wintery engagement session!  Since the Winter months tend to be a bit slower for us, it’s always exciting to get outside and photograph a couple that wants to embrace the snow and cold.  Nate and Kristin did it right, with the bright colored clothing, the great location, and the perfect afternoon sunshine.  We are really looking forward to their wedding in June at Shining Tides in Mattapoisett MA.

A New Year’s Eve Wedding at The Society Room – Gillian and Michael!

Gillian and Michael had such a fun, spirited, exciting wedding!  They planned their wedding at The Society Room from out of state, which is always a bit daunting, but everything was perfect!  Their winter theme was highlighted by the fact that they got married on New Year’s Eve, thus adding that extra bit of celebration.  After doing their “First Look” inside The Society Room, the bridal party all went over to Hartford City Hall for portraits before the ceremony.  We had such a great time at this wedding, it was the perfect way to end the year.

Dana Bartone and Company helped the girls get extra gorgeous by doing their hair and makeup, Rob Alberti was their DJ and supplied the uplighting.  Elisa Chase did an amazing job as their Officiant, and Chad Whelan was their videographer. TK & Browns Flowers did an excellent job with all of the flowers.

This officially marks the end of our 2012 season, and we are so so so excited for what 2013 is going to bring us.  Enjoy the photos!

A Winter Wedding at The Society Room – Kyle and Jason!

It is always such an honor to be invited to photograph a wedding for clients that you have done work with in the past.  Kyle and Jason are such a fun loving couple, as are their friends and families.  Kyle and Jason had planned a sophisticated, winter wedding and it was very beautiful.  After getting ready at The Residence Inn, in Hartford, with hair and makeup by Larissa Lake Makeup Artist, their ceremony was at St. James Church in Manchester, CT.  Next we went to Hartford City Hall for bridal party portraits.  Their reception was at The Society Room of Hartford.  Jeff Ladd was their DJ, and Floral Expressions in South Windsor was their florist.  Enjoy the photos!

A Society Room of Hartford Wedding – Jess and PJ!

Jess and PJ had a beautiful wedding at The Society Room of Hartford just a couple weeks ago.  With many guests traveling from far, they had an intimate ceremony blending two cultures.  After getting ready in the bridal suite at The Society Room, they had their first look on Pratt Street.  We then quickly went over to the Capitol Building for some bridal party portraits.  After their ceremony, Audio Media Solutions transformed the space with their beautiful uplighting!  The dancing lasted late into the night, and we were very honored to be a part of this special wedding.  Enjoy the photos!
